My Sweet 21st.- 02nd Feb 2013.

This will be the second post that i'm doing for my blog. It will be about my sweet 21st which was held and celebrated at my house! Yes...it was held at my place though I was not really happy with that idea but I'm left with no choice due to my procrastination and all. I was unable to book a chalet unit at Downtown East, Chevrons or even NSRCC. All the units were taken and the dates were unsuitable for me. But think on a brighter side, celebrating my 21st at my own house can helps me to save money and time which I think it's more worth it after all.

Two of my girlfriends came over to help me w the b'day decorations as well as setting up my photo booth and I'm really very grateful for their help despite how tired they are. Not forgetting about my dearest boy who helped me early in the morning too!

So, we started out by cutting all the printable props that my bf had printed for me.

They are cute isn't it? After which, we went out of the house to do some wall decorations for the photo booth.

Me, HH and James! (Wall decoration is still halfway in progressing.....)

Tadang! My wall decoration is up!

It's not the end still. Don't you find that the wall seems to lack of something?
So we continue to decorate and add more colours to the decorations!

Okay, the wall still looks plain even though the "Happy Birthday" banner was hung up. Now the next thing to do is to blow balloons!

Poor me have to sweep the floor after all the decorations but I do enjoy the process of decorating the wall together w my friends and bf.

The person came to set up the tables at around 5 plus, in fact he reached earlier by 15-30 mins. I placed a 50 pax order through an online website named Melrose and the quantity was really huge. I'm so afraid that the food will be wasted and YES THERE ARE SO MANY LEFTOVERS AT THE END OF THE DAY because some of my friends did not turn up for my birthday due to some personal reasons and the others were just unable to eat that much. In total, this buffet cost me $600 and I swear it's fucking ex even though the food tasted not bad.

I went to take a bath because I sweat a lot when I'm outside of my house doing all those stuffs. Then I took some photos of myself w the lovely dress I bought from In-House-Fashion which is located at Bugis Street level 2. The background of the picture simply spoils everything. Yes, it's the kitchen's toilet.

Some of my friends came over to my place at around 6 plus. Luckily, I thought many would turn up late despite the fact that I've indicated the buffet starting time at 5.30 to 9.30pm..

Me, Huiling and Hui Hui.

Me and Matthew.

Me, Javier and Rachael.

Jovin and James.

These two lil kids are my cousins, they are so cute right.

Eh, sorry HH but what's w your face expression?! HAHAHA.

Some of my course mates came and I'm so happy to see them!

My dad, Uncle Richard and family.

Here comes the sweetest couple, HH and Jacky. (Love is in the air~)

My dad's religion is buddhist and thus the painting beside my right. I am right here talking over the phone w friends who clicked "Attending" for my b'day and yet didn't turn up. How disappointing.

Me and Jovin.

Me and le boy.

Me, JH, Ziying, Michelle and Hazel.

Look at me instead of Taylor Swift, HAHA.

I looked so happy in this picture w a spoonful of food ready to put into my mouth.

Look at this Sandy who always like to make fun of Jacky.

Huiling and Huihui. They are blood related sisters, look alike isn't it? Obviously.

Oh yes oh yes, I almost forget about the balloons! Me and Sandy head over to Bugis to get my helium balloons at one of the party shop. 20 balloons cost me $15 plus w 4 different colours- 5 light pink, 5 hot pink, 5 white and 5 black. Lastly is my unicorn balloon which is bought by Jacky. Thank you!

Aww, look at this princess Tiara. I really love this because I'd always wanted to have a "Princess" theme for my 21st b'day. In fact, I'm a princess everyday...joking. LAUGHS.

I think my photographer really love this 2 kids a lot and keep on spamming my camera w so many of their photos! Hahaha.

Hey Jacky, don't snatch the balloon w Javier!

Blind mice.

Mum is back home w my b'day cake!

How come I got so many of your photos, Jacky? HAHAHA.

Me and my cousin, Evon.

I'm so sorry that the photos look kind of messed up. All these were taken before the photo shoot session starts! That day, Jacky was down w flu so I tried to find him medicine to help him feel better. In the end he didnt take any of the pills cause we decided to go beer market to drink and thought that eating pills w alcohol is harmful to the body. The second picture was all my course mates, they are a bunch of funny people. I always feel great hanging out w them because they really know how to joke around. The last picture showed is my mum, aunt, bf and Allan.

My parents. I love them.

This photo is taken w my secondary school friends.

As you can see that there are still so much leftovers at the end of the day esp the dessert which is called Sea Coconut. Nobody touches it at all, it seems like youngsters nowadays are not a fan of desserts.....

We had a hard time setting up the cake cause it is really quite big and our actions have to be very careful as it might destroy the cream around the cake. The wind on that night was quite strong and the candles kept on blown off and it's really difficult to maintain the fire on the candles. But still, we made it! Btw, I specially bought one princess candles from the part shop that I had mentioned earlier on because I felt that it can totally fit into the day's theme which is Princess. There are also additional 2 big and 1 small candles that are provided when purchasing the cake itself.

So, here's the time to sing me a birthday song~

Please grant me a wish.

I was quite reluctant to cut the cake because the cake is very pretty but still, I have to cut it haha.

I was in fact quite nervous when I have to stand in front of so many people when they sang me a birthday song. However, I enjoyed the moment spent and I am really touched when they sing the birthday song for me. I almost cry.

The cake tasted great but it was too creamy. The roses cream was left untouched and it eventually ended up in the dustbin. How wasteful right..

Had my very last photos taken w le poly mates. Love them ttm!

My pressies! Some of the presents were not taken that time like the red packets and etc.
I am really thankful for those who showed up for my advanced birthday celebration as well as the presents. (FYI, my actual b'day is 11th Feb 1992 and I celebrated my birthday on 2nd Feb, Sat)

The red flower was dead initially but after a day of submerging inside the water, it revived. You look beautiful.

xx.
